The total solution of Norton Security is well put together. In their own words, the company integrated different basic services in a new interface. After the tour in the package it can be noticed that the total package has been renewed. The entire user interface was examined and adjusted. This is quite an improvement compared to previous years. It has all become a whole lot clearer.

In the main menu the functions have been subdivided in different categories: security, identity, backup and performances. In addition to the standard scan option it is possible to easily scan your Facebook page for harmful links and threats. The scan takes several minutes but is very effective. At the end of the scan we escaped a Trojan horse, viruses and tracking cookies. A good function as far as we are concerned.

The android app of Norton is well put together. The app comes with clear buttons. These buttons give you access to the elements like anti-malware, anti-theft and backup. The function of the app advisor provides good information on mobile apps which leak personal data and want to install adware on your smartphone.

The iOS app is less comprehensive. This is due to the closed system of Apple. The app can only make backups and possibly find back a lost device.
